JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technovator is looking for a passionate and visionary professional to lead Deeptech related projects and spearhead fundraising efforts. This role is important in driving innovation by executing initiatives that connect academia, industry, and global innovation communities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering collaboration, scaling impactful solutions, and ensuring the success of projects at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and societal advancement.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize programs and events to connect researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors.
  • Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines.
  • Support training programs to ensure they meet industry demands and grow tech talent.
  • Work with stakeholders to design events that address important tech challenges and societal needs.
  • Build partnerships with regional and international ecosystems to promote innovation.
  • Create and implement strategies to attract funding through grants, sponsorships, and investments.
  • Connect with global funding sources, including corporate sponsors, development agencies, and investors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with funders, demonstrating the value of Technovator’s programs.
  • Represent Technovator at local and international events to promote its vision and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project performance databases that track overall progress and the accomplishment of specific milestones.
  • Act as a point of communication between company teams and external resources.
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources – including third-party vendors and researchers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in attracting funds and sponsors for minimum 1 project.
  • Advanced levels of English, Romanian, Russian languages.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully multi-tasking across projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with managing clients and teams.
  • Goal-oriented, independent, committed, innovative and motivated.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Period of performance:

The assignment will begin on January 13, 2025

Place of performance:

The consultant will perform his/her duties in Chisinau, Moldova.

Reporting instructions:

Report project outcomes and/or risks to the General Project Manager.
