This Privacy Policy explains how Technovator collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our platforms. It applies to both technovator.world and gigahack.md, both operated by Technovator as a single data controller. Ticket purchases and payment processing occur exclusively on technovator.world; gigahack.md is a presentation and event registration platform. This Policy applies in accordance with Legea nr. 195/2024 (Republic of Moldova) and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

What are your rights?:  Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with CNPDCP (Moldova) or your local DPA.

Information you provide directly

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register, purchase tickets, create an account, or contact support:

Payment details are processed exclusively by our payment provider Paynet. We never receive or store your card number.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, certain data is collected automatically:

  IP address and browser type

  Device information and operating system

  Pages viewed and actions taken on our website

  Date, time, and duration of access

  Referring website URLs

This data helps us maintain platform security, analyse usage, and prevent fraud. We also use cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5 for details.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your data to:

  Process ticket orders and payments.

  Provide access to events and send order confirmations or digital tickets.

  Communicate with you about your purchases, upcoming events, or service updates.

  Respond to support requests and resolve disputes.

  Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and ensure platform security.

  Meet our legal obligations (financial records, tax compliance, fraud prevention).

  Send marketing communications — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We share personal data only where necessary and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where a third party processes personal data on our behalf, the processing is governed by an appropriate data processing agreement and confidentiality obligations.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies to ensure the Platform works correctly, remember your preferences, and analyse how users interact with our site.

  Analytical — Google Analytics & Fineguide. Require your consent. Collect pseudonymized usage data.

  Marketing — Manychat. Require your consent. Used for chat campaigns and promotions.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Our primary servers are located within the European Union. However, some of our service providers (Google Analytics)  may process data in countries outside the EU/EEA and outside the Republic of Moldova.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with art. 44-49 of GDPR and art. 44-49 of Law no. 195/2024, including:

  EU-US Data Privacy Framework (for US-based providers who are certified).

  Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

  Adequacy decisions where applicable.

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized so it can no longer identify you.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA SAFE?

We apply the following technical and organizational security measures:

  Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest where applicable.

  Secure payment gateway (Paynet) — we never handle card data directly.

  Role-based access controls — only authorized personnel access personal data.

  Regular security reviews and software updates.

  Data processing agreements with all third-party processors.

No online system is 100% secure. While we strive for the highest security standards, we cannot guarantee absolute protection. Please access our Platform via a secure internet connection.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor’s data has been collected without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has happened, please contact us at admin@technovator.world.

Depending on applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

11. DO-NOT-TRACK

Our Platform does not currently respond to browser-based Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform technical standard has been established. If an applicable standard is adopted, we will update this Policy accordingly.

12. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and publish the updated version at technovator.world/privacy-policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when it was last revised.
