Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our Platform. By accessing or purchasing through technovator.world, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. ABOUT TECHNOVATOR AND THIS POLICY

Technovator (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an event organizer that plans and hosts various events and offers tickets for sale on our websites. This document applies to both technovator.world and gigahack.md (collectively, the “Platforms”), both operated by Technovator as a single data controller. Ticket purchases are processed exclusively on technovator.world; gigahack.md serves as a presentation and registration platform that redirects users to technovator.world for all transactions. This document outlines the terms for using our services and your rights and obligations as a user. 

Definitions

Technovator values your privacy. We collect and use your information when you purchase tickets, attend events, or interact with our Platform — including usage information, billing details, payment records, and contact information.

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with carefully selected partners necessary to deliver our services (e.g., payment processors, ticketing systems). We always require such partners to protect your data under confidentiality and data processing agreements.

You may ask us to update or erase information we hold, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

By using our Platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please contact us at admin@technovator.world to remove your data from our records immediately.

Sensitive Information We do not knowingly collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

How we use it

Usage and analytics data is used in aggregate to understand platform performance and improve features.  It helps us understand which events or parts of our product are of greatest interest. This is shared with third-party analytics services (Google Analytics). The transfers that cover data transferred to the United States, are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where the GDPR applies, transfers to participating U.S. organisations may rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In the absence of an applicable adequacy decision, transfers may be subject to appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 and the GDPR, as applicable.  Ticket purchase and registration data is used to fulfil the service — delivering your ticket, sending event updates, and managing attendee lists.

3. YOUR RIGHTS

Under Law No. 195/2024  of the Republic of Moldova  and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679 )  , you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  Right of access — obtain access to and a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  Right to erasure — request deletion of your data where there is no overriding legal basis to retain it.

  Right to restriction — limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

  Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.

  Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your data by emailing admin@technovator.world. We will remove your personal data from active systems and notify third-party processors accordingly. We are legally required to retain billing and transaction records for 6 years (Standard Documents Retention Periods Indicator, Republic of Moldova)

4. COPYRIGHT

All content and materials on the Technovator website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — are the property of Technovator or its content suppliers and are protected by international copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content is strictly prohibited.

5. BILLING, PAYMENTS, AND TICKET DELIVERY

Event tickets can be purchased on our website using a valid credit or debit card. Once payment is confirmed, your ticket will be delivered digitally (by email or through your account dashboard). Technovator reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

Data retention for billing

Billing information and payment history are retained for 6 years in accordance with our legal obligations under Standard Documents Retention Periods Indicator, Republic of Moldova and applicable accounting regulations. We also retain IP address data together with invoice records for tax compliance purposes.

6. COOKIES

Technovator uses cookies to enhance the user experience on our website. We use cookies to remember users’ preferences, to keep track of how our website is used, and to personalize the content and advertising that users see. Users can choose to disable cookies in their browser settings, but this may limit their ability to use certain features of the website.

7. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

Technovator is committed to protecting your personal data. We collect and process personal data in accordance with Law no. 195/2024 (Republic of Moldova) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We collect only what is necessary for our services and process it only on a valid legal basis.

How we protect your information

Technovator and its authorized partners implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. Access to personal data is restricted to employees and processors who need it to perform their duties, and is governed by confidentiality obligations.

We may share your data in the following limited circumstances: to enable payment processing; to communicate with you about your tickets; to manage customer support; with professional advisers (lawyers, auditors, insurers) under confidentiality agreements; and with public authorities when required by law.

8. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

In the event of a dispute arising from the purchase of tickets or use of our services, the parties will attempt to resolve it through friendly negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may seek resolution through mediation or arbitration under applicable law.

9. WARRANTIES, RETURNS, AND REFUND POLICY

Technovator makes no express or implied warranties regarding its services. If an event is cancelled, a full refund will be issued within 14 working days of the cancellation announcement. If you are unable to attend, you may request a refund up to 48 hours before the event, subject to the specific event’s refund policy. Event-specific refund terms are stated clearly on the ticket purchase page.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Platform is provided “AS IS.” Technovator does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the absolute security of user data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technovator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

11. PURCHASING TICKETS — CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Registration / Account: You may need to create an account by providing your name and email. You must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy to complete the purchase.

Purchase: Select your tickets and proceed to checkout. Payment is made securely via Paynet.

Ticket delivery: Tickets are delivered digitally by email or via your account dashboard immediately after payment confirmation.

Customer support: Contact us at admin@technovator.world for any questions about your purchase or the event.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and publish the updated version at technovator.world/terms. The date at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated.
