Deeptech GigaHack is the largest deeptech hackathon in the Republic of Moldova, organized by Technovator. Now in its fourth edition in 2026, the event brings together hundreds of developers, designers, researchers and students each year around real challenges proposed by companies and institutions from key technology domains – AI, HealthTech, FinTech, Energy, Cybersecurity, AgriFood and more.

In an intensive 48-hour format, multidisciplinary teams build prototype solutions to real problems, guided by industry mentors and supported by strategic partners. At the end of the event, each participating organization evaluates the solutions received and decides how to take them further – the most relevant ones having the opportunity to continue development within the Technovator incubation program.

GigaHack is not just a hackathon. It is an innovation mechanism through which the real problems of organizations meet the brightest tech minds in the country – and sometimes, beyond it.
