The Digital Transformation Academy program was designed to tackle the challenges faced by Moldovan entrepreneurs and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully navigate the digital age. This project, aimed to develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation program, supporting entrepreneurs in adopting new technologies and enabling them to achieve their business objectives.
Program Objectives
The main objective of the Digital Transformation Academy was to support entrepreneurs on their journey toward digital transformation. By implementing digital products and services, participants were encouraged to improve productivity and create new jobs. The program also aimed to create an institutional environment that supports the widespread and safe adoption of digital solutions.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to engage in an intensive bootcamp, complemented by online sessions and a robust mentorship program. Each participant could choose group coaching in small cohorts of five people, providing continuous guidance in addressing specific challenges as they implemented their digital transformation strategies.
Activities and Study Visits
To enrich the learning experience, the program included study visits to local companies that have successfully embraced digital transformation. These visits included Simpals (September 11) and Orange (September 16), offering participants the chance to learn firsthand from top companies about integrating digital solutions into their businesses to boost efficiency and productivity.
Expected Results
The Digital Transformation Academy aimed to achieve several key outcomes to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Moldova:
– Market expansion: Digital tools and platforms help Moldovan businesses reach a wider audience, both nationally and internationally.
– Enhanced customer engagement: Digital technologies improve interactions with customers, strengthening relationships and loyalty.
– Improved efficiency and productivity: Digital solutions optimize operations, leading to cost savings and increased productivity.
– Innovation and growth potential: By adopting digitalization, entrepreneurs can discover new business models, products, and services that drive innovation and growth.
Participants and Program Impact
The program launched with 33 selected participants, including 12 Ukrainian citizens. The first day of the bootcamp took place at Digital Park, where the foundation of knowledge for the entire academy was laid.
The final session was held at Orange System, where a tool developed by Orange for the digitization of HR activities was presented. At the end of the session, certificates were awarded to both participants and experts for their contributions to the implementation of the Digital Transformation Academy program.
Conclusions
The Digital Transformation Academy, initiated by Technovator, was a success, supporting over 25 entrepreneurs in the process of adopting digital solutions. The program contributed to the growth of Moldova’s private sector by providing professional training and advisory support, creating a lasting socio-economic impact.
Through education, mentorship, and strategic partnerships, the program contributed to entrepreneurial prosperity and sustainability, helping Moldova make significant strides in its digital transformation.
