Applications to join the 2022 EIT Food entrepreneurship programmes are now open!
EIT Food, the largest agrifood start-up community in Europe, is once again opening opportunities for like-minded entrepreneurs and innovators to commercially develop their innovations that are helping to transform our global food system. EIT Food programmes provide the opportunity for start-ups to gain access to world-leading corporates, academia, investors, research organisations, with individual support offered to help raise investment and scale-up to enter international markets. Applications close 28 February 2022.
EIT Food is running three programmes that cater for all stages of business growth.
- Seedbed Incubator Programme – a 6-month programme aimed at newly formed start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs who are looking to launch their technology innovation. Successful applicants will receive funding and gain access to our ecosystem, and will be supported by business coaches and agrifood sector experts. We will prepare you for a successful business launch!
- EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) – this 4-month programme is for start-ups looking to move beyond the acceleration stage and become a part of our ecosystem with access to business and research institutions where start-ups gain access to specialist facilities such as labs, pilot sites, agricultural land. Start-ups will also receive financial support, plus benefit from coaching and mentorship.
- RisingFoodStars – this programme is for early scale-ups with existing customers who are looking to grow their business internationally. The RisingFoodStars association helps scale-ups raise investment, build pilot projects with corporates and increase visibility through a network of powerful business connections and networking opportunities. We are looking for game changing agrifood SMEs that are beyond the ideation phase.
