About the Role
Technovator is looking to hire an Event Manager for a full-time job in our team. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain significant experience in operational management within a dynamic environment.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and ensure the successful execution of Technovator programs and events.
- Manage relationships with mentors and participants, ensuring all parties are effectively engaged and supported throughout our programs.
- Handle the preparation and management of contracts, coordinating with the team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct offers requests and manages communications and negotiations with service providers to secure quality services and materials needed for events and operations.
- Actively participate and supervise events, ensuring that they run smoothly
What you’ll need
- Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business administration, management, marketing or related field.
- Understanding of operational processes and principles, preferably within a non-profit or event management context/volunteer experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, able to attend events outside of regular hours
- Experience in handling contracts, tenders, and negotiations with vendors is preferred but not mandatory.
