On September 18, Technovator, in partnership with Medpark International Hospital, organized Medpark Testing Lab, a side event of Deeptech GigaHack 2026 dedicated to testing the Medpark app and collecting direct feedback from the tech community.
More than 20 IT specialists, developers, healthcare professionals, and technology enthusiasts tested the app using real-life usage scenarios. Participants evaluated the navigation experience and the available features, and identified aspects that could be simplified or improved. The format followed the idea Technovator announced from the start: validating the product together with real users, not only through technical evaluation.
The event was opened by Mary Nemciuc, Founder & CEO of Technovator, who spoke about the role of Deeptech GigaHack in connecting the tech community with real problems faced by companies and organizations, and by Olga Șchiopu, CEO of Medpark International Hospital, who presented Medpark’s perspective on digitalization and on integrating technology into the patient experience.
Aurel Drăgan, Digital Transformation Manager at Medpark, presented the app and explained how user feedback is incorporated into the product’s ongoing development.
At the end of the session, the most valuable contributions were awarded in four categories: Best Bug Hunter, Best UX Insight, Most Creative Suggestion, and Super Tester Medpark.
Medpark Testing Lab is part of the series of activities associated with Deeptech GigaHack 2026, which will take place on September 25-27 at Tekwill, Chișinău. The event, organized by Technovator, brings together the tech community, researchers, and organizations that propose real challenges for developing technological solutions and prototypes.
Deeptech GigaHack 2026 is organized by Technovator with the support of EU4Innovation East, a regional project funded by the European Union, co-funded by the Government of France and implemented by Expertise France; the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF); and the Innovate Moldova Program, funded by Sweden and the United Kingdom; as well as the Central European Initiative (CEI), through the CEI Know-how Exchange Programme 2025, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic.
