April 2026
Technovator took part in the Women Innovating Digital networking programme in Feldafing, Germany, joining participants from Eastern Partnership countries: the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
For the Technovator team, the programme was more than a learning opportunity. It was a chance to deepen expertise in digital transformation and return with fresh ideas for programmes and initiatives that support entrepreneurship and startups more effectively and relevantly than ever.
During the networking sessions, participants had the opportunity to learn from remarkable women leaders, including Dr. Mara Cole (Bayern Innovativ GmbH) and Maren Lesche (Startup Colors). Their perspectives on innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration brought real value to the entire group.
What stood out most was the unique mix of cultures, perspectives, and experiences, all united around one shared goal: supporting innovation ecosystems and helping small and medium-sized enterprises digitalize more effectively.
That shared vision naturally turned into collaboration, openness, and trust, and concrete projects are already in the works. Several ideas have been selected for implementation, and Technovator is actively contributing to building real cross-border partnerships, currently collaborating with IMC Armenia, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, HUMAN MMC, BIRP, and Green Carpathian EDIH.
As Olga Trofymova put it, this is truly a People2People world, and even more, a Woman2Woman world. Technovator extends its thanks to Olga for designing and delivering such an intensive, complex, and collaborative programme in such a short time. Building an environment where cross-border projects don’t just get discussed, but actually take shape, is no small feat.
Representing the Republic of Moldova were Natalia Bulai, Mihaela Ceban, Nadia Ursu, and Olesea Cernavca, who together continue to build something meaningful for the innovation ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova.
The Women Innovating Digital initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, within the project “Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Eastern Partnership Countries” (DT4SME).
